Mr. Munoz joined Fieldpoint Private in 2020 and spent a year as a Senior Credit Officer with Fieldpoint’s credit team before becoming a Commercial Banker in 2021. He brings over 10 years’ experience in commercial real estate lending and real estate investing nationwide. Most recently, he was with Trez Capital, a $3.9 billion commercial mortgage lender, where he participated in the origination and approval of over $130 million in construction loans throughout the nation.  He began his career with ValStone Partners, a Michigan-based private equity firm, where he participated in the sourcing, underwriting, and closing of over $170 million in commercial real estate loans and equity.

Mr. Munoz earned his bachelor’s in business administration from the Universidad de Estudios Avanzados in Aguascalientes, Mexico, and his master’s in Finance from Walsh College in Troy, Michigan. Additionally, he has passed the CFA Level 1 exam. Mr. Munoz is based in Fieldpoint Private’s Atlanta office and services clients nationwide.
